Kaitlyn also fought hard to overcome her addiction, but it beat her. Aug 27, 2006, the world lost a beautiful soul that radiated sparkle and shimmer. Her family started Kaitlyn’s Promise to make sure no other family had to go through what they are going through.
Through the Kaitlyn Vallery Foundation, they have awarded over $50,000 in scholarships to kids who have overcome all types of adversity but still wanted to continue their education. They also will give any family that asks free drug tests and Kaitlyn’s mom Cheri has been speaking to students at the Jr High Level about the importance of making good choices and the consequences of bad ones.
All of our money is raised during our annual fundraiser held in Conroe TX every July. Kaitlyn’s Crop is a 4 day scrapbooking event filled with great raffle prizes, awesome classes and lots of fun.
